The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) has issued a notification for the "Startup India Fund of Funds 2.0" with a corpus of Rs. 10,000 crore. This initiative aims to mobilize venture capital for India's startup ecosystem. The scheme will support innovation-driven manufacturing, long-gestation technologies, and smaller venture capital funds. It expands access to venture capital across various stages and sectors, with a focus on deep tech and early growth-stage startups. SIDBI will continue as the implementing agency for this expanded framework.
