The Flagging System
If you encounter a bookmark or comment that violates these guidelines, please use the "Flag" button located on every post.
- Auto-Suppression: Content that receives multiple reports (threshold of 5 flags) is automatically moved to "Under Review".
- Visibility: Once under review, the content is hidden from all public feeds (Global, Groups, Search, etc.) until an admin can inspect it.
Admin Actions
Our moderation team reviews flagged content daily. Possible outcomes include:
- Approved: The report was dismissed, and the content is restored to the public feed.
- Edited: The content is updated by an admin to remove violating parts (e.g., tags or titles).
- Removed: The content is permanently removed from the platform.
The decisions made by our moderators are final. We trust our team to exercise their judgment fairly to keep Linkwise high-quality.
Consequences for Violations
We take violations seriously. Actions may include:
- Warning: For minor or first-time infractions.
- Account Suspension: For repeated minor infractions or major violations.
