Innersloth, the developer of the massively popular game "Among Us," launched Outersloth in 2024 to provide financial support to indie game projects. Similarly, Landfall, known for "Peak," established Evil Landfall to invest in and publish other indie titles. Kinetic Games, the creator of "Phasmophobia," also launched its own publishing business to aid fellow indies. These initiatives are crucial as overall investment in the gaming sector has significantly decreased since its 2021 peak.
